The Mack is again! The Leicester
Riders have introduced their first acquisition of the summer time as they’ve secured
return of level guard Kimbal Mackenzie for the 2023/24 season.
Mackenzie, who has signed a
one-year deal, is getting into his third consecutive marketing campaign with the Riders and capped
off an incredible marketing campaign final outing with averages of 12.7 factors and three.8 assists
to earn a spot on the Molten British Group of the 12 months.
Reflecting on the return of
Mackenzie, Riders Head Coach Rob Paternostro mentioned:
“Kimbal has been glorious
for us and we’re thrilled to have him again on the membership. We’ve got loved
working with him these previous two seasons, he’s a participant who comes able to play
day-after-day.
“He’s a flexible guard who
could be efficient in many alternative spots on the ground and has proven the flexibility
to make profitable performs in necessary moments of the sport.
“His potential to fill
completely different roles final seasons was very spectacular.”
Mackenzie’s kind within the
2022/23 marketing campaign for Leicester definitely turned heads, with quite a few
game-winning performances for the previous Champions – his 31-point explosion
towards the Cheshire Phoenix in February proving a selected spotlight.

to be returning to Leicester for my third season.” Mackenzie mentioned.

Mackenzie’s kind earned him
